The The Lazy Diner is run by Ake Hosea Winterflood Cook Islands very own sports and athletics medal(s) winner.
Ake replaces her running shoes ( for a few hours each day ) and dons the apron to serve up delicious meals and great coffee from this little Red Hut.
Sit on the timber decking and stare out at the waves crashing onto the outer reef, eyes focused on the next board rider to take off and risk the coral that makes up this fast break.
Sit with the locals and enjoy the hospitality and the sounds of our Rarotongan musicians pouring out from the sound system.
Not enough for you, then speak to Akes' nephew's Boy and Clive. Take a short walk across the market grounds and contemplate an Authentic Polynesian Tattoo from the masters .
Or just hang out with Jeff and Taua and enjoy a coffee and a chat
